Aerospace Projects:

  • Developed hydraulic embedded software for Airbus A350 (model based and hardware based testing)​

Medical Device Projects:

  • Developed automated software and hardware tests for medical electrosurgical system that had previously been executed manually

  • Reduced test execution costs by 99% due to automation

  • Developed custom automation hardware and software utilizing FPGAs to replace legacy manual testing

  • Simulated controller CAN messages to interact with a user interface touchscreen

  • Developed a test scripting environment that emulated communication between an electrosurgical system and an external wireless device using JavaScript via a Serial-USB connection

  • Developed a programmable resistor PCB that utilizes an FPGA or Arduino to help automate the test environment for the electrosurgical system

  • Developed the component library, schematic capture, and PCB layout/routing for a new medical device system

iOS/watchOS Projects:

  • Developed a health messaging app for both iPhone and Apple Watch to deliver custom notifications to patients

  • Patient responses are sent to a custom AWS platform and gathered for analytics 

 

IoT Projects:

  • Developed custom high-speed, multi-camera controller and frame processing IP core for a new precision chromatic sensor using a FPGA

  • Developed the component library, schematic capture, and PCB layout/routing for carrier and camera boards

  • Implemented object detection on the edge using a Raspberry Pi and developed API for both embedded hardware and web-based access to neural network

  • Replaced an expensive PLC storage control system with a balenaFin carrier board that utilized a Raspberry Pi Compute Module

  • Developed a Heroku with Node.js website that displayed real time data collected by the balenaFin

Government Projects:

  • Hardware development for US Army Futures Command Ground Vehicle Systems Center

  • Developed FPGA test code for JPL’s Europa Lander mission

  • Developed FPGA test bench code for NASA Goddard’s Restore-L mission
